Mr Green Bookmaker Review by Bryan Nicholson

Mr Green is one of the top Irish sportsbooks and online casinos with an innovative in-play betting menu. Mr Green offers competitive odds, both live and pre-match on thousands of markets spanning across over 30 sports.

We can wager on both desktop and our mobile devices via the Mr Green app available on both iOS and Android.

Irish customers can benefit from the welcome bonuses. The Mr Green €20 minimum deposit applies to this promo where you can accumulate free bet bonuses worth hundreds of euros.

Standing out in our Mr Green review is its dedication to responsible gambling. The site’s dedicated Green Gaming Tool and resources page is a huge plus for the Mr Green app and Irish players.

Sound exciting? Well, there’s plenty more action on the Mr Green sportsbook so let’s delve into what you’ll find when you get yourself a Mr Green login.

Mr Green Sports Strengths and Weaknesses

Let’s elaborate on some of the strengths and weaknesses we found in our Mr Green sportsbook review.

Mr Green Strengths

  • Responsible gambling - Mr Green bookmaker believes in “fair and fun entertainment”, meaning they’re big on educating responsible gambling. The Green Gaming tool is their way of informing and helping Irish players to play responsibly.
  • How to play guides – Mr Green bookmaker not only educates on the ins and outs of responsible gambling, but it also provides how to guides on various betting formats and bet types like live betting. This helps the punter learn all about different wagering concepts. We can all benefit from these exclusive Mr Green tips.
  • Live betting – The live betting experience at Mr Green is top notch. We can login and follow a virtual stats and action screen for several different markets and explore a full in-play betting menu across a variety of different sports.

Mr Green Weaknesses

  • Needs more ongoing and seasonal promos I found the Mr Green site to be very casino orientated with several Mr Green bonus offers on the table so to speak. There were little to no ongoing and seasonal promos for the sportsbook though. This might change depending on the time of year.
  • Smoother browsing experience needed - When navigating the Mr Green site it took me an age to find what I was looking for in respect of different sections for this full Mr Green review. Even the Mr Green sportsbook welcome bonus was very ambiguous.

Mr Green Ireland Review by Bryan Nicholson

All in all, the Mr Green sportsbook package gets my vote, specifically for the sheer number of sports and betting markets and opportunities. Betting options are rife including in-play betting on Mr Green bookmaker Ireland. Sports range from popular US sports to obscure Irish sports like GAA.

The welcome bonus and other bonuses are not great with 5 x €10 bet credits available upon sign-up, and not much else going.

Again, the volume of markets at Mr Green gets me licking my lips, especially the football product which covers several worldwide leagues and it’s easy to navigate this area through the different sports, albeit the same can’t be said for other areas of the Mr Green desktop site.

Odds are more than competitive too with the Mr Green betting markets so that gives us a chance to find some value on our side.

There’s no problem with the banking side of things. In fact, the likes of Revolut and PayPal being there as options for transactions is brilliant and handy for any Irish bettor. There were no foreseen problems with withdrawals either.

Re customer support, there is live chat 24/7 and an FAQ section but I couldn’t find any email address or telephone number easily available on site. It’s either not there or you have to jump through hoops to find them.

To top things off, we can make the browsing experience better by opting to download the Mr Green app and I’d advise doing so. I feel the site is really optimised for the mobile betting app which is available from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Is Mr Green legal in Ireland?

Everyone has questions ahead of divulging personal information and potentially funding a new online betting account in Ireland, but Mr Green is perfectly safe.

Mr. Green holds multiple licenses (Malta, UK, Ireland and more) and is licensed by the Office of the Revenue Commissioners on Irish shores. Gambling authorities regularly audit regulated betting sites to make sure everything is above board. Generally, your funds will be held in a separate account and your data will be protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

In Ireland you can legally wager at Mr Green bookmaker or Mr Green Casino if you are 18 years of age or older.

Mr Green Sportsbook Welcome Package

A welcome package or welcome bonus is an incentive provided by the bookmakers to sign up and register as a new player on their betting platform. It’s mutually beneficial – a loss leader for the bookie, while it gives us some pocket money to play around with when starting our betting journey with the new sportsbook.

Mr Green Welcome Bonus

  • €50 in free bonus bets to use on any sport

Simply make a first deposit and a Mr Green €20 wager at odds of 4/5 (1.80) or higher to get a €10 free bet bonus. Repeat the process five times for 5x €10 free bets in total. Bet stakes are not returned as winnings and expiry time limits apply so use them quickly.

How to Claim Mr Green Ireland Welcome Bonus

It’s easy to claim the sportsbook welcome bonus at Mr Green Ireland:

  1. Click through our links to the Mr Green sports sign-up page.
  2. Fill in your email, password and country and tick the T&Cs box.
  3. Verify your account through email and via any documents required.
  4. Fill in any other personal details and opt-in to the Sports bonus.
  5. Make the qualifying Mr Green €20 deposit and qualifying wager, and your welcome bonus will be initiated.

Mr Green Welcome Bonus Terms and Conditions

Don’t forget to check all the criteria and the fine print associated with bookmaker bonuses and promotions to make sure you can hit the wagering requirements with ease.

  • Minimum qualifying bet of €20.
  • Wagering on selections at odds of 4/5 (1.8) or higher.
  • Repeat up to five times maximum.
  • Bet stakes not included in winnings.
  • Other T&Cs may apply.

This Mr Green Ireland welcome bonus is straightforward, and it’s fit for any level of sports bettor - from novice to pro.

Jackpots, Pools and Syndicates

There are not many ongoing or seasonal bonuses or promotions at Mr Green sportsbook Ireland, however they do have ongoing Jackpots and pools sections for sports where you can join syndicates and win real money prizes. You can find these under the ‘Jackpots’ tab in the main Mr Green betting menu.

Mr Green Best Sports Features

Features make a betting platform and there are significant key features throughout the Mr Green sportsbook that make for quite a strong user experience.

Full sports betting menu

The most impressive key feature for me on the Mr Green bookmaker Ireland platform and the Mr Green app is the wide variety of sports and betting options. There are well over 30 sports to bet on, forming a diverse selection of betting options and bet types. Add to this a strong live betting product and we are looking at one of the top Irish sportsbooks in this area.

Strong payment options

I was very impressed when I investigated the banking options during my Mr Green review. Payment options like PayPal and especially Revolut added to the usual suspects really jumped off the page for me. We can deposit and withdraw quickly and seamlessly.

Green Gaming Tool

I’m personally big on responsible gambling and Mr Green’s dedication to responsible gaming really stands out. There are links to resources down the bottom of the website and scattered around the Mr Green app.

Plenty of resources and tools are available, most notably the Green Gaming Tool which is a full education on responsible gambling, controlling your betting habits and money management.

Mr Green Mobile Apps

Thankfully there’s a mobile app for Mr Green Sportsbook and casino readily available on iOS and android from the App Store and Google Play Store respectively.

Mr Green seems more optimised for the sports betting app and it’s easier to navigate through the different sections of the Mr Green app when you download it. All the same features of the desktop are available on the mobile app which can be on your device in less than a minute.

Mr Green Banking in Ireland

There are several in-vogue banking options available at Mr Green and this is an area of the site I was particularly impressed with. Being able to deposit via payment options like Interac, PayPal and Revolut is a real plus point of the Mr Green sportsbook.

  • Debit card
  • Paypal
  • Bank Transfer
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • Paysafe Cards
  • Visa (some jurisdictions)
  • Interac
  • Revolut

Minimum deposit is €10 and there’s a small fee of 3.9% associated with Paysafe card deposits. Visa and Mastercard use 3D secure as an extra layer of security.

Some withdrawals are processed within minutes and a few methods take 1-3 days. There’s a €30 minimum withdrawal. From time to time, you may be asked for documents to support your withdrawal verification.

Mr Green Sportsbook Customer Support

I wasn’t impressed with the Mr Green customer support in my Mr Green review. If there is a phone number and email to contact an agent, I could not find it and I was sent on a bit of a wild goose chase, going through links – some which didn’t work. Mr Green does offer 24/7 live chat and a pretty thorough FAQ section.

  • 24/7 live chat
  • FAQ Section
  • Social media channels

Conclusion

The Mr Green bookmaker site has a lot going for it especially when it comes to the online casino. I would like Mr Green to focus a little more on the sportsbook and make sure the user experience for sports bettors is up to scratch. To end on a positive note, there are absolutely no complaints from me about the sports and betting side of things.
