Silverplay Strengths and Weaknesses

Weighing up joining the Silverplay sportsbook? Let us help you make that decision with our quick strengths and weaknesses:

✔️ Silverplay Sport Strengths

  • Lots of sports options – 27 options in total, which is good
  • Competitive odds – Maybe not always the best, but we did find above average quite often here
  • Decent for live betting, virtual sports and esports – The live betting includes thousand of daily markets, and the Esports and virtuals sections are strong enough to warrant their own tabs on the headline bar
  • Decent customer service and banking options – Loads of banking options for both deposits and withdrawals, and the customer service options are steady and reliable

❌ Silverplay Weaknesses:

  • Limited features – Not really much to write home about here above the obvious live betting and cash out. Only live streaming on Esports, for example
  • Unrealistic welcome bonus Ts and Cs – 16x rollover within three weeks just rules out too many players.
  • Limited markets on some sports, including GAA – Want to bet on who will win the All-Ireland? No problem. Anything else? No. You get the picture.

Silverplay review

A newish operator on the scene – since 2021 to be exact – Silverplay is yet another site in the stable of Bellona NV, based out of Curacao. The site will look familiar to many.

With a strong casino focus, the sportsbook still has some nice offerings on the sportsbook, so it’s not just an afterthought, unlike on some sites. There are plenty of things to enjoy here once you complete SilverPlay login. For example, there sure are plenty of sports to choose from – 27 in total, and then Esports on top of that. The most popular sports of tennis, football and basketball all have great market depth, but unfortunately you can’t say the same of all sports offered here.  This it not an Irish or British bookmaker, so there isn’t necessarily the focus that you will get on a lot of the sports that are popular on these islands. That equates to limited options on the likes of rugby and GAA

The site is easy to use, though, and we certainly had no qualms with our ability to hget around, find what we wanted and to place bets quickly, which is always important. Perhaps a little disappointingly there are no dedicated SilverPlay apps at the moment, but the desktop site is developed to work well enough on mobile devices. For those popular on-the-go options, such as live betting, you can find good options and react quickly, which is what you want. We can’t pretend that the offering here is impressive enough to rival the big boys, though.

You will be pleased to know that we did find competitive odds here at times, so you could say that it is worth signing up to Silverplay and using it as an option from time to time. But if you were thinking of getting stuck in just to avail of the Silverplay bet sign up offer, we wouldn’t bother. Why? Because when you dive into the terms and conditions you will find that there is a 16x rollover requirement that has to be followed within 21 days. Forget about that for casual players. If you placed a first deposit of €50 and got the matched bonus, for example, you’d have to bet €800 worth in three weeks just to be able to claim any of those winnings!

There are other bonuses here, and we were keen to check the Ts and Cs after discovering the fine print on the Silverplay welcome offer, but there are decent options, including a reload bonus. In terms of real features, the Esports and virtual sport options are more than decent – typical from your modern casino and gaming sites. What we can say is that Silverplay is very much an example of that new type of sports  betting site on the scene – casino and gaming focussed.

In terms of customer support and the admin side, it’s all there. Good customer support options and reactions, and plenty of banking options with fair limits and processing times. No issues here.

So, to sum it all up, it’s a pretty good site. There’s really nothing at Silverplay to get really excited about, but it’s not bad either. Whether that’s enough to excite you, we’re not really sure, and in terms of any Silverplay tips to offer, we’d just say keep an eye on the Silverplay bonus terms and conditions before you avail. But it’s all pretty decent.

Silverplay Best Sports Features

We’ll be honest, we didn’t really find a whole lot going on here in terms of features. Here’s what we did find:

Live betting – This really is something that every sportsbook has to offer, and there are thousands of daily options here, thank goodness.

My events  – This is a customisable wagering feature through which you can personalise your own bets.

SilverPlay cash out – Get full or partial cash out of your bets here

SilverPlay results – Pick up the results easily so you can make informed choices for your future bets.

SilverPlay live streaming – Only on Esports were afraid.

SilverPlay virtual and Esports – Loads of Esports on offer here, including CS:GO, Dota 2, Starcraft II, FIFA, League of Legends and more.

Silverplay Mobile Apps 📱

There are no Silverplay apps for mobile devices, so nothing to look for in the apps stores we’re sorry to report. The normal site works well enough on mobile devices, though.

Silverplay Banking

No fear as there are loads of deposit and withdrawal options here. Here’s an extensive list:

  • Visa and Mastercard
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • EcoPayz
  • MiFinity

  • Interac
  • Pay redeem
  • Crypto

The limit is €10 for desposits and withdrawals, there are no fees, and withdrawal times can vary depending on the method. The cashier section is easy to use.

It’s also good to know that SilverPlay offer a reload bonus of 50% up to €50.

Silverplay Customer Support 💬

SilverPlay offer a pretty good customer support service. The chat icon is usually visible and is available 24/7. There’s also an email address – [email protected]

There is an FAQ section too which covers some of the basic stuff to know when betting with SilverPlay bookmaker, but as is the norm with most bookmakers – especially the newer ones – there’s not much detail. And of course there’s no telephone number!
