Casumo Review

By: Bryan Nicholson

Many fans prefer to support the underdog in sports and that ethos can be transferred neatly to sports betting.

Established in 2017, FansBet has made its mark in the gambling industry by taking a fan-led approach to sports wagering.

Their sportsbook has a strong focus on football, with punters able to bet on around 120 different leagues and tournaments throughout the year.

However, fans of other sports are certainly not neglected, with around 25 other popular sports featured on the site.

With bonuses, cash out, live betting and more, FansBet Ireland appears to have all the main bases covered.

Let’s delve a little deeper into FansBet to see why bettors have been flocking to their site.

FansBet Strengths & Weaknesses

FansBet’s supporter led approach to betting puts a different spin on sports wagering. Let’s take a closer look at their strengths and weaknesses in our FansBet review.

✔️ FansBet Strengths

  • Bonuses & Promotions: In addition to their competitive sign-up deal, FansBet also offers punters the opportunity to take advantage of a wide range of ongoing promotions. These include free bets, risk-free bets and acca boosts.
  • Giving Back: FansBet are dedicated to making charitable donations and supporting causes that matter most to fans. This socially conscious mode of operating sets FansBet apart from most of their competitors.
  • In-play betting: All modern sportsbooks should have a wide range of live betting opportunities and FansBet does not disappoint in this department. Football, basketball and tennis are amongst several sports where in-play markets are available.

❌ FansBet Weaknesses

  • Mobile betting: FansBet does not currently have a standalone sports betting app, although their site has been optimised to work seamlessly on mobile devices.
  • Live streaming: The introduction of live streaming would improve the sports betting experience on FansBet.

Conclusion

While there are a couple of minor elements that could be improved, the pros far outweigh the cons at FansBet.

Full FansBet Betting Review

Our initial impression of FansBet was positive, with the uncluttered sportsbook design promising a pleasurable betting experience.

The two free €20 bets when you place your first bet are a welcome alternative to the usual matched deposit bonuses available elsewhere.

With easy-to-follow terms and conditions, this sign-up deal gave us the ideal opportunity to boost our bankroll from the outset.

As big football fans we loved the depth of coverage on fans bet, with around 120 different leagues and competitions featured on the site.

With horse racing, basketball, tennis, ice hockey and more than 20 other sports thrown into the mix, there is something to suit every taste at FansBet.

All the typical markets are featured on FansBet including match betting, both teams to score, totals, first goalscorer and many more.

Our favourite feature is Bet Builder, which allows you to choose any pre-match event in football and basketball and build a multiple wager.

FansBet’s odds are extremely competitive with the rest of the industry, both in the pre-match and live betting markets.

We found depositing funds into our account really easy, with the process taking just around a minute to complete.

The absence of PayPal as a deposit method was a little frustrating, although this did not detract from our enjoyment of the site too much.

Withdrawals generally take around three working days to reach your account, although your initial request may be delayed if you haven’t verified your account.

Contacting the customer service team is simple, with FansBet offering live chat and email as their primary support functions.

While there is no telephone support available at FansBet, their comprehensive online Help Centre has answers to most common queries.

FansBet does not currently have a standalone app, but their site has been fully optimised to work seamlessly on mobile devices.

We found the mobile betting experience to be extremely slick, with the site having all the same features you can find on desktop or laptop.

FansBet’s Best Sports Features

Every sportsbook has features which help to boost the user’s enjoyment of betting on the site. Our favourite features at FansBet are as follows:

FansBet Bet Builder

Build a pre-match accumulator of up to six selections on pre-match football and basketball markets for the chance to win big money.

FansBet Acca Boosts

Boost your winnings based on how many legs your accumulator contains. For instance, a successful six-fold acca will be boosted by 15% up to €10,000 in cash.

FansBet Cash Out & Partial Cash Out

Cash out allows you to collect your winnings before an event is over. Partial cash out allows you to take out some money from a bet and let the rest ride.

FansBet Giving Back

Opt-in to the Giving Back scheme and FansBet will contribute a portion of your betting activity to a charitable cause or programme of your choice.

FansBet Mobile Apps 📱

There is currently no FansBet betting app.

However, the site has been fully optimised to work on mobile devices and contains all the same features you will find on desktop and laptop.

The welcome offer of two €20 free bets is also available to new customers on mobile.

FansBet Banking 💰

FansBet offers several different payment methods - Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, AstroPay and MuchBetter.

After signing up for an account, we verified our identity and address details to ensure that any subsequent withdrawals were not delayed.

We funded our account with €20 with a Visa debit card, although we would have preferred PayPal to have been an option.

After entering the requested details our request was processed immediately and we were able to start betting.

Withdrawing from FansBet was simple, with the site allowing us to request payment back to our original deposit method.

The funds took three working days to reach our account, which is in line with most of the leading bookmakers in the industry.

FansBet’s Customer Support 💬

The easiest way to contact the FansBet customer support agents is via email or live chat. Unfortunately, like many other new betting sites, there is no telephone helpline.

We initially tested the email route and received a resolution to our query within an hour.

Live chat was even quicker, with the FansBet agent resolving our question in matter of minutes.

The FansBet Help Centre is also an extremely useful resource as it contains answers to many common sports betting queries.

A link to this handy section can be found in the footer on the website.
